I contacted CBSA to find out how much duty I would pay on a shipment of a product called China Oel for personal use. This is primarily peppermint oil that is made in Germany. This was a week ago and I have not received a response.

What is the reason for the peppermint oil? Is it for use on the skin? You would need to discuss this with your shipping agent… they could tell you how to classify it and then you can figure the duty/gst/hst.
